Dear Guest
Here at Als Kloster, it exudes history and cosiness, and it is this very special atmosphere that we want you to experience with us.
The headline is "the good life" - and we put in the effort to be good hosts, decorate with good style and serve good food made from scratch. In the long term, our kitchen will be based on raw materials from our own gardens. A monastery always has both a vegetable garden, an herb garden and an orchard - and we are in the process of re-establishing them.
Whether you walk, cycle, sail or drive here, we are ready to welcome you.
Welcome to us here at Als Kloster.

Stay at Als Kloster
A stay with us is not just about having a place to sleep. It's also about peace, presence and finding the pace that suits you.
Some come for the nature and the Gendarmstien. Others for the food, the silence or a few days away from everyday life. And some are just passing through and need a nice place to land.
With us, there is room for everything – as long as there is also room for peace around you.

Assemble
your stay

At Als Kloster, you book your room without meals and then choose the dining options that suit you best.
You can add:
-
Breakfast
-
Lunch bag
-
Afternoon cake
-
Dinner
The first three options are available exclusively to guests staying at the hotel, while the dinner is also open to non-resident guests.
Choose the full experience or enjoy a part of it. The choice is entirely yours.

Adults and children
Als Kloster is primarily a place for adults. This does not mean that children are not welcome – but it does mean that we have designed the place according to the peace, presence and needs of adult guests.
You will therefore not find a playground, changing facilities, children's menus or extra junior beds with us.
Many people choose this place for the silence, nature and special atmosphere, and we want to make sure that happens.
Dogs
In three of our rooms it is possible to bring a calm dog for a surcharge of DKK 150 per night.
Out of consideration for guests who do not like dogs, it is not possible to bring your dog to the restaurant area.
It is therefore important that your dog can also be calm alone in the room for periods during your stay.
No TV
Als Kloster is an old monastery, and perhaps that's why it feels natural to turn down the noise a little.
There are therefore no televisions in the rooms - however, we do have good wifi if you would like to use your own digital devices.
Many people actually enjoy having a little more space for conversations, books, or just being present.

With us, the beds are made, the towels are laid out and the hairdryer is ready. And during your stay you are free to make coffee and tea whenever you like.
