Here at Als Kloster, it exudes history and cosiness, and it is this very special atmosphere that we want you to experience with us.
The headline is "the good life" - and we put in the effort to be good hosts, decorate with good style and serve good food made from scratch. In the long term, our kitchen will be based on raw materials from our own gardens. A monastery always has both a vegetable garden, an herb garden and an orchard - and we are in the process of re-establishing them.
Whether you walk, cycle, sail or drive here, we are ready to welcome you.

Glamping at Als Kloster
Glamping at Als Kloster offers a different way to stay – in peaceful surroundings on the island of Als, close to Sønderborg.
You'll stay in one of our charming shepherd's huts, furnished like a simple hotel room but offering a calmer, more personal experience that brings you closer to nature.
The huts feature comfortable beds and a cosy interior. As our guest, you'll have access to the shared facilities in the old farmhouse, and during the summer season you can also enjoy our outdoor showers – a favourite with many of our guests.
Glamping is perfect if you'd like to try something different from a traditional hotel stay without giving up comfort altogether. You'll still be able to enjoy the homemade food from the kitchen, and breakfast is, of course, included.
Our glamping huts are open from Easter until the end of the Danish autumn school holidays.
Brother Abraham

Brother Abraham is the cabin closest to the buildings, and is therefore the shortest distance to the toilets.

Brother Augustin is the middle cabin. It is ideal if you are traveling together and want to stay next to each other.

Brother David is the furthest away from the buildings. However, it is the most undisturbed and right next to a small lake. This is the cabin for the nature lover.
