Here at Als Kloster, it exudes history and cosiness, and it is this very special atmosphere that we want you to experience with us.
The headline is "the good life" - and we put in the effort to be good hosts, decorate with good style and serve good food made from scratch. In the long term, our kitchen will be based on raw materials from our own gardens. A monastery always has both a vegetable garden, an herb garden and an orchard - and we are in the process of re-establishing them.
Whether you walk, cycle, sail or drive here, we are ready to welcome you.

Brunch is served as a buffet from 10, and you're welcome to stay and enjoy it until 13.

Looking for Brunch near Sønderborg or on the island of Als?
At Als Kloster, we serve a traditional Brunch with homemade specialities in cosy surroundings.
Our Brunch is a leisurely late morning meal featuring freshly baked treats and a delicious selection of breakfast and luch favourites.
You'll always find freshly baked rolls, cold cuts from Als Pølser, warm liver pâte, a selection of cheeses, fresh fruit and vegetables, scrambled eggs and bacon, Greek yoghurt with homemade toppings, homemade Nutella, jams and freshly baked Danish kringle. On top of that, our kitchen always adds a few seasonal surprises.
Please note that there are no children's discounts at our open events, Children who require their own seat and place setting are charged the full price. Very young children who share with an adult are welcome free of charge.
We host brunch on selected dates only, most often Sundays. Visit our "What's On" page to see upcoming dates and events, Advance table reservation is always required.
Brunch is served as a buffet and includes unlimited filter coffee, tea and apple juice. The price is DKK 250 per person.
