Dear Guest
Here at Als Kloster, it exudes history and cosiness, and it is this very special atmosphere that we want you to experience with us.
The headline is "the good life" - and we put in the effort to be good hosts, decorate with good style and serve good food made from scratch. In the long term, our kitchen will be based on raw materials from our own gardens. A monastery always has both a vegetable garden, an herb garden and an orchard - and we are in the process of re-establishing them.
Whether you walk, cycle, sail or drive here, we are ready to welcome you.
Welcome to us here at Als Kloster.

Outdoor well-being
Small breaks under the open sky
With us, it's not just the surroundings that provide peace - it's also the little experiences along the way. You can start the day with an open-air bath or end it with a foot bath for tired feet.
These are little breaks you rarely give yourself at home.

At the reception you can buy
a foot bath kit – and a drink-to-go
if you like
Foot bath for tired feet
After a day on your feet, there's hardly anything better than sitting down and giving them a well-deserved rest.
At our foot bath station, you can fill a basin with warm water, settle into a sheltered spot and simply take a moment to enjoy the view across the meadow.
It's a simple pleasure – but for many guests, it's one of the little moments they remember long after their stay.
Outdoor showers - with the sky as a ceiling
We have two outdoor showers with both hot and cold water, available for you to enjoy throughout your stay.
Start your day with fresh air and a warm shower, cool off after a long day of exploring, or rinse away the salt and sand after a swim in the sea.
As always, you'll find the same high-quality shampoo and body wash that we provide in all our rooms.
Part of the experience
We don't have big spa areas or wellness packages. We have something else.
With us, the breaks happen naturally. Maybe because the pace slows down when you're here, or because the surroundings invite you to stay a little longer than you had intended.
It's not something you necessarily plan - but something you discover along the way. That it can do something to step out into the open air, feel the air and give yourself a moment without having to move on.
It's simple and doesn't take up much space. But that's often what sticks.
“Super cozy surroundings and great service. We had the sønderjyske kagebord (cake table) - really nice introduction and 8 different cakes. Highly recommended”
Thomas
