Dear Guest
Here at Als Kloster, it exudes history and cosiness, and it is this very special atmosphere that we want you to experience with us.
The headline is "the good life" - and we put in the effort to be good hosts, decorate with good style and serve good food made from scratch. In the long term, our kitchen will be based on raw materials from our own gardens. A monastery always has both a vegetable garden, an herb garden and an orchard - and we are in the process of re-establishing them.
Whether you walk, cycle, sail or drive here, we are ready to welcome you.
Welcome to us here at Als Kloster.

In South Jutland, we are quite fond of cakes, and of course we are here at Als Kloster as well.
We have developed our own version of a South Jutland coffee table. We call it a South Jutland Cake Symphony - see more below.

Under the "What's On" tab, you can see month by month when the South Jutland Cake Symphony is on.
Remember to reserve a table.
South Jutland Cake Symphony
Looking for a traditional Sønderjysk kaffebord (Southern Jutland's famous cake table)?
At Als Kloster, we've chosen to do things a little differently. Instead of serving the traditional Sønderjysk kaffebord, we've created our own Southern Jutland Cake Symphony – with a focus on quality, flavour and reducing food waste.
In the past, we served the traditional Sønderjysk kaffebord, but we soon discovered that even the most devoted cake lovers struggled to make it to the very last slice. We also realised that offering such a large selection didn't sit well with our ambition to reduce food waste.
Instead, we've created our own Southern Jutland Cake Symphony, featuring eight carefully selected classics that we know are favourites with most guests. The selection varies slightly, but you'll always find traditional buns, Danish kringle, biscuit cake and rye bread layer cake.
Please note that there are no children's discounts at our open events. Children who require their own seat and place setting are charged the full price. Very young children who share with an adult are welcome free of charge.
We dare say that the Southern Jutland Cake Symphony is more than enough to make you feel like a walk along the Gendarme Path afterwards.
We're continually adding new Cake Symphony dates, which you can always find under the "What's On" tab.
The Southern Jutland Cake Symphony costs DKK 200 per person and includes unlimited filter coffee and tea. Other beverages are available to purchase separately.
