Dear Guest
Here at Als Kloster, it exudes history and cosiness, and it is this very special atmosphere that we want you to experience with us.
The headline is "the good life" - and we put in the effort to be good hosts, decorate with good style and serve good food made from scratch. In the long term, our kitchen will be based on raw materials from our own gardens. A monastery always has both a vegetable garden, an herb garden and an orchard - and we are in the process of re-establishing them.
Whether you walk, cycle, sail or drive here, we are ready to welcome you.
Welcome to us here at Als Kloster.

Dinner at the monastery
Dinner here is a bit of a different story. Since we are in a disused monastery, we all eat at the same time, and we all get the same food. We eat at 7pm, and if you fancy a welcome drink beforehand, the bar is open from 6.30pm.
You must register for dinner no later than 12 noon on the day, either via reception or online via the button below.
The chef sets the menu, and the idea behind the concept is that we enjoy a good meal together. We know that for some it can be a bit overwhelming not to know the menu, and this requires that you trust that we make good, tasty food. We make an effort to make dishes that we know most people like.
There is always a starter and a main course, and it costs DKK 265 per person to eat. If you have room for more, you can buy a dessert for DKK 65.
If you have any allergens, please inform us when making your reservation. If you are vegetarian, we will make sure that there is food for you. However, we generally advise against vegan options - we are too happy with eggs, butter and cream for that.
There is a starting point for dinner at the monastery, as follows:
Week 05-24: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Week 25-36: Every day
Week 37-50: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Week 51-04: Winter closed
